Poetic Triumph: College Secured Third Place in Inter-College Poetry Recitation Contest

Chandigarh, September 12, 2024: In a remarkable display of talent and eloquence, Livjot Kaur,a talented student of M.Sc. Foods and Nutrition, brought pride to the institution by securing third position in the prestigious Inter-College Poetry Recitation Competition held at SGGS College, Chandigarh on Wednesday.

The event saw participation from numerous colleges across the region, with fierce competition and exceptional performances from all participants. She captivated the audience and judges alike with a powerful rendition of Poem ‘Nanak’ showcasing not only an impressive command of poetic expression but also a deep understanding of the poem's theme and emotions. The recitation was a perfect blend of rhythm, voice modulation, and emotive delivery, which earned her the coveted third place.
