Poetry and musical evening at Roadies Koffeehouz
The Narrators Performing Arts Society in association with Roadies Koffeehouz and Adamz Records organised a poetry and musical evening at Roadies Koffeehouz, Sector 7, Chandigarh.
Chandigarh, February 8, 2023: The Narrators Performing Arts Society in association with Roadies Koffeehouz and Adamz Records organised a poetry and musical evening at Roadies Koffeehouz, Sector 7, Chandigarh.
The event was held under The Narrators group's initiative ‘Kalakshetra’ which aims to create a platform for young talent, such as authors, poets, musicians, dancers , where they can showcase their skills.
Many artists including poets, musicians, and singers from the tricity performed at the event. The theme of the performance was the bold red colour of Poinsettia.
Nisha Luthra, founder and director of the The Narrators Performing Arts Society inaugurated the evening along with renowned poets Amy Singh, Prof. Archana Singh and Dr. Suneet Madan.
At the event, Amy Singh recited her famous poems Lahore and Yani, while Prof.Archana Singh spoke about the nuances of recitations. She underlined about right pauses and breath work while reciting poetry. Dr. Suneet Madan talked about her upcoming book 'Poinsettia' which is a collection of English poetry and duplay verses.
During the event, Luthra addressed the youth to consider Valentine's day not only to express their love for the opposite gender but their poetry, art, music should also portray their love for the country and for the Almighty.
Musical bands, poets enlivened the evening with their magical performances. The participants were also felicitated with certificates.
