POETRY BOOK “Mohabbattan De Dariya” released in PTU

Kapurthala, February 22, 2013: A function on the next day of International Mother Language Day was organised in Punjab Technical University (PTU).

In this function, techniques to publicize Punjabi language were discussed.

On this occasion, a book of Punjabi Poetry “Mohabbattan De Dariya” written by an employee of PTU, Poet Mukhtiar Singh Sahota was also released.

Among the guest of the occasion, Sant Ram Bedi, President of Sirjana Kendra Kapurthala Prof. Kulwant Singh Aujala, Prof. Sardool Singh Aujala, famous Lyricist Kewal Manakpuri were also present.

The function was presided over by  Director PIT Dr. Nachhattar Singh.

Sant Ram Bedi said that this book is like a spiritual message from God.

Director Dr. Nachhattar Singh said that Mother language Punjabi can be respected by making its maximum use on Academic level. He also congratulated team PTU for translating the books of Human Values in Punjabi Language. He said that these efforts should be continued in future also. 

President of Sirjana Kendra Kapurthala Prof. Kulwant Singh Aujala that the books of literature play a valuable role in publicising Punjabi Language.

Lyricist Kewal Manakpuri also recited poems from the same book.

On this occasion Associate Prof. PIT Prof. Dr. Avtar Singh Buttar, Dean College Development Dr. Balkar Singh, Deputy Controller Examinations Paramjit Singh, Nitya Sharma, Prof. Supriya Behl, Dr. Ranbir Singh, Prof. Prabhdeep Singh, Assistant Registrar Jatinder Narula were also present.
