Police arrest 3 for recording movie in mobile phone at theatre in multiplex

Ludhiana, October 9, 2021: Local police have arrested three persons, including a minor, for allegedly recording a newly released Punjabi film “Moosa Jatt”, in their mobile phone.
According to available information, the accused were allegedly recording the movie in their mobile phone in a local theatre located in a multiplex.
The accused were to sell the recorded movie online. All the three accused have been identified and an FIR has been registered under Copyright Act, Cinematography Act and Section 420 of the IPC at Police Division No.8.
The FIR has been registered following a complaint made by manager of the multiplex concerned before the police.
Further police investigation is in progress.
