Dharamshala: Himachal police have beefed up security in and around McLeodganj and Dharamkot areas of Upper Dharamshala, after the blast outside Israeli Embassy in Delhi.
Dharamkot, a village near McLeodganj in Upper Dharamshala is on alert due to Israeli tourists here. SSP Kangra, Vimukt Ranjan told that police station McLeodganj is on alert after the blast in Delhi. “We are sending our teams for patrolling in routine in Dharamkot and Bhagsunag areas of Upper Dharamshala due to Israeli movements in this region here”, he said.
SP Vimukt Ranjan said, “After Delhi incident, here too in the area of McLeodganj and Dharamkot where there is an Israeli population, patrolling has been intensified even in the day and the night time. The police station McLeodganj has been put on alert to coop with any situation.”
