Political scenario in poll-bound Himachal Pradesh  

CONCEPT OF DEMOCRACY
The concept of democracy is “of the people, by the people, for the people”. It is the major quote in the democratic form of government. The government is elected by the masses keeping in mind the development agenda of a particular political party, past performance and future commitments made in public interest by the political party and its goodwill. In the present arena in the political setup the political parties in order to woo the voters announce number of freebies if voted to power, sideling the concept of deficit state exchequer. As the planning commission finalises the development works to be carried on in future and allocate funds for development works to make it national assets. 

FREEBIES 
On one side number of subsidies, freebies, pension schemes, medical facilities etc. are announced during pre-election period and when a particular political party comes to power after going through the financial details and when knows the actual position of the state exchequer, clarifies that the coffers are empty and as soon as the funds are received through various taxes in the state exchequer the freebies and announced schemes will be implemented at the earliest.

HIMACHAL ELECTIONS
Which political party will face its waterloo in the coming assembly elections in Himachal Pradesh? All the political parties are confident of winning the these elections and it cannot be predicted that which party will secure its majority. Many aspirant candidates’ names have been witnessed missing in the announced lists of candidates by the political parties. Sources reveal that the balance of winning of candidates is in the hands of the independent candidates and the rebels of various political parties who are not contesting but trying to defeat particular candidates can really upset the post poll scenario. 
The canvassing has heated up in the constituencies of Himachal Pradesh whereas cold wave is gripping the upper parts of the state. The apple lobby in the Upper Himachal Pradesh belt is going to play a major role in the winning of the candidates whereas in the areas adjoining to Punjab have witnessed series of development projects especially railway line and running of trains on the track which the people had never ever dreamed of this charisma of railway line and completing of various infrastructure projects.

BOOTH-LEVEL WORKERS
The booth level workers will have to show their presence in the lower- level motivating and highlighting the masses with the policies and programmes of their party to the masses and inspiring them to vote for their party. If the worker at grass root level shows their presence from whichever party he belongs will certainly prove benefitted to that particular political party. If the grass root level worker fails to indulge in the motivating the masses the result can be that one had never expected.
