Politicians on toes in Punjab in view of coming assembly elections

CONGRESS ON DAMAGE CONTROL IN PUNJAB 
Masses in Punjab are in dilemma over the functioning of the Congress high command over the current prevailing situation in Punjab. All India Congress Committee General Secretary and In charge of Punjab Congress Affairs Harish Rawat along with the Congress High Command is trying to defuse the prevailing current situation and taking preventive measures to damage control on the war of words and supremacy between Punjab Congress Chief Navjot Singh Sidhu and Chief Minister Punjab Capt Amarinder Singh. Punjab CM Capt Amarinder Singh has clearly said that it is not possible at present to scrap of various agreements of the past government. The words quoted by the Punjab Congress Political Affairs In-charge Harish Rawat has put himself on the back foot by going back to his quoted words. Capt Amarinder Singh seems to be successful in halting the damage control within the party as Congress leaders especially from Majha have changed their voice once again in favour of Congress High Command and desired to meet the Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh. Harish Rawat had clearly said that it is not possible for any change in any post and Capt Amarinder Singh will remain as Chief Minister and there can be no reshuffle in the Cabinet giving a sign of relief to the dissidents, he said to the party leaders should unitedly work together to contest the Punjab Assembly Elections in 2022 and once again bring the Congress Government for Five Years. The issue of developments seems to be sidelined during the quotes quoted by various leaders on the issue of development carried out in the past four and a half years by the Capt Government. 
BJP PUNJAB MOBOLIZING PARTY CADRE 
Punjab B.J.P. President Ashwani Sharma , B.J.P. National General Secretary & Punjab Political Affairs In charge Dushyant Gautam, B.J.P. National Secretary and Co-In charge B.J.P. Punjab Affairs Dr Narinder Singh Raina ,B.J.P. State Secretary (Organization )Dinesh Kumar has directed the Party Cadre to hold meetings up to Mandal Levels and mobilizing the Booth Level Leaders and their associates . Apart from this B.J.P. has directed Punjab B.J.Y.M. Chief Bhanu Partap Rana, Punjab B.J.P. (Mahila Morcha) Chief Mona Jaiswal other Morchas and Cells to carry out Campaign with full vigour among the masses in regard to the Social reforms implemented by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi Government. Keeping in mind the current prevailing situation in the Punjab State due to the Farmers Agitation B.J.P. is trying to make a strategy to woo the rural vote bank towards Modi Governments achievements. As of now it is not clear that what strategy B.J.P. will adopt in distributing the party tickets in the coming Punjab Assembly Elections, there are rumours that B.J.P. will clear most of the tickets to the old candidates to contest who had contested earlier subject to the approval from the Parliamentary Board of B.J.P. 
SAD–BSP ALLIANCE VOTE BANK
Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD)-Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Alliance has carried out series of meetings with the masses, the main agenda behind is to increase its vote share in the coming Punjab Assembly Elections. This alliance is highlighting its past achievements that “jo kaha who kiya aur ab bhi jo wadha kar rahe hein poora karengey” and quoting that if voted to power they will fulfill all the promises they have made with the electorates during the elections and specially mentioned in the poll manifesto. This alliance is leaving no stone unturned to get induct the political leaders from other parties. The alliance seems to be aware of multi- contest in the assembly elections therefore every vote is important in this election.  
AAP WORKERS CAMPAIGNING DOOR TO DOOR 
Aam Adami Party (AAP) workers in the urban and rural areas are carrying out campaign in their respective areas, they are creating awareness among the masses by organizing camps and highlighting that if voted to power all of you would be benefitted with 300 units of electricity. The party chief Arvind Kejriwal had earlier said that their CM candidate can be a Sikh. There are number of rumours among the masses that who will the new to join AAP in the coming days. 
Various political parties are focusing on damage control so that their leaders do not exit and join other political party. The concept of “aya ram gaya ram” cannot be ruled out in the coming days. 
Finally, it can be said that almost every politicians is on toes in Punjab in view of coming assembly elections. Political activities are to further increase in the coming days.
