Chandigarh, September 4, 2024: Government Home Science College, Sector-10, Chandigarh, took a significant step towards promoting nutritional awareness by organizing a rally as part of ongoing celebrations of Poshan Maah.
The rally, conducted by the NCC cadets of the college under the guidance of ANO Maj. Neelam Kumari, aimed to emphasize the importance of proper nutrition. The cadets enthusiastically marched through the college campus, outside in front of the college gate, bus stop and the Government Hospital, carrying handmade posters and chanting slogans to spread awareness amongst the public. Their slogan, "Sahi Poshan, Desh Roshan," resonated powerfully, encouraging everyone to adopt healthy nutritional habits.
The Principal, Prof. Sudha Katyal commended the students for their active participation and creative approach in spreading the vital message of nutrition. This initiative not only highlighted the importance of proper nutrition but also showcased the college's commitment towards community welfare and public health.
