Chandigarh, March 29, 2022: Poshan Pakhwada is observed every year in the month of March as per the directives of the Government of India. As part of the ongoing celebrations, the Government Home Science College organised a rally and poster making competition in sync with the theme of good nutrition and healthy eating.
Students of undergraduate and postgraduate classes along with the NCC cadets and NSS volunteers participated in the event. The rally was flagged off from the college campus towards Sector 10. Students carrying posters on healthy eating chanted slogans and disseminated information regarding the inclusion of healthy diets in their everyday life.
The poster making competition had more than 50 entries wherein the girls exhibited their creativity through art.
The principal of the college, Prof. Sudha Katyal congratulated the students for their efforts to spread awareness related to the overall benefits of adopting a healthy lifestyle among the masses.
