Chandigarh September 19, 2024: National Service Scheme, Panjab University in collaboration with Centre for Human Rights and Duties organised Poster and Slogan Writing Competition on the theme “Say No To Drugs”. 

The event was organised under the guidance of Dr. Parveen Goyal, Programme Coordinator, NSS; Prof. Namita Gupta, Chairperson, Centre for Human Rights and Duties; Programme officers Dr. Anu H. Gupta, Dr Sonia Bhardwaj and Dr. Sonia Sharma. 

Participants, Scholars and Faculty took pledge against drug abuse. The winners were awarded during the event. In Slogan writing Competition, Manya Luthra Institute of Educational Technology & Vocational Education bagged the first prize. Second position was bagged by Kunika from Department of Hindi and third position by Arik Plarch from Centre for Human Rights and Duties. 

In poster making competition, Kareena from Department of Evening Studies won the first prize, Khyati from University Institute of Fashion Technology & Vocational Development bagged second position and Sejal from Department of Fine Arts, MCM D.A.V College for Women bagged third position. 

As many as 34 students from various departments enthusiastically participated in the event and created impressive posters and slogans.
