Ludhiana, November 23, 2024: The Standard Club opened by Bureau of Indian Standards at SRS Govt. Polytechnic College, Ludhiana, successfully organized a Poster Making Competition aimed at promoting creativity, artistic expression, and social awareness among students.

The event, held on the college premises, attracted a large number of students who presented their artistic talents through captivating posters on a range of important topics such as environmental conservation, social issues, and cultural awareness.

The Chief Guest for the event Er. Mohinder Pal Singh, former principal, graced the occasion and shared his invaluable insights on the importance of creativity and innovative thinking in shaping young minds.

The posters were judged by an panel consisting of Jaspreet Kaur HOD, Rekha Gupta Sr. Lecturer, Navjeet Kaur Sr. Lecturer, Manpreet Kaur Lecturer. The judges carefully evaluated each poster based on creativity, originality, and the relevance of the theme. After thoughtful deliberation, winners were announced First Position: Baljinder Singh of CSE, Second Position: Jamanpreet Singh of IT, Third Position: Harmanpreet Kaur of GMT. The winners were awarded cash prizes for their outstanding contributions.

The event not only provided students with a platform to express their creativity but also helped raise awareness on important social and environmental issues.

Er. Manoj Kumar Jambla, Principal of SRS Govt. Polytechnic College Ludhiana, congratulated all the participants for their efforts and emphasized the role of art in shaping public opinion and fostering positive change in society.
