Power lifting Championship held at DMCH

Ludhiana, May 26, 2016: Power lifting Championship was held recently in the premises of UG Boys Hostel at DMCH, Ludhiana. The function was inaugurated by Principal Dr Sandeep Puri in the presence of Medical Superintendent Dr Sandeep Sharma, Dr Sanjeev Uppal, Dr GS Bajwa and Dr Rajinder Mittal.

In all, 16 medical students of different batches qualified for the final competition in 4 different weight categories. Student Co-ordinators Dr Navjot Singh and Mr Jannat Tiwari informed that despite being busy in clinical work and studies, the participants performed with great enthusiasm in the competition. They extended thanks to all the medical administrators and members of DMCH Sports Committee and also to Gym Instructor Rajdeep Singh and warden Mr Dinesh Awasthy for their support and encouragement for the event.
