The session, anchored by Professor Priya Arora, featured renowned speaker Chef Deepak Kalsi, the proud owner of Deepak’s Dhaba, a popular chain of restaurants in Calgary, Canada. Chef Kalsi shared his journey of success, elaborating on the challenges he faced and how he was able to establish his own thriving restaurant chain. The discussion also covered a wide range of topics, including the dynamics of the Canadian hospitality industry and essential tips for students looking to build a successful career in hotel management.
