In a statement here today, the Punjab Pradesh Beopar Mandal (PPBM) general secretary Sunil Mehra added that today every citizen is feeling insecure. “The present state government is responsible for the deteriorating law and order situation”, he said, adding that during the Congress-rule in the state anti-social elements are openly flouting the law and order. Thus, incidents of loot and bank robbery etc are taking place during broad daylight.
He added that the present situation clearly indicates that there is no law and order in Punjab.
On the other hand, Punjab Chief Minister, Charanjit Singh Channi is busy with his election rallies. As a result, the police administration is engaged in his security arrangements. The police do not care about the common people.
