Chennai, February 9, 2025: The 3rd edition of Prashanth Hospitals’ much-anticipated Corporate Cricket Tournament (CCT 2025) concluded with a spectacular finale, successfully reinforcing the importance of cardiac and neurological health among corporate professionals. The proceeds raised as part of this initiative totalling to Rs. 1.8 lakhs was donated to the Rotary District 3232 to execute social awareness activities in and around Gummidipoondi and Ponneri region. The initiative, held in alignment with the hospital’s flagship ‘Save Young Hearts’ campaign, received overwhelming participation from the corporate sector, emphasizing how an active lifestyle can enhance both heart and brain health.
The grand finale ceremony that took place at TJS Engineering College in Puduvoyal in collaboration with Rotary Club Gummidipoondi, S2S HR Forum and ICMA SIPCOT, with T. J. Govindarajan, B.A, M.L.A – Chairman, TJS Group of Institutions, attending as the Chief Guest. He was joined by esteemed dignitaries from Prashanth Hospitals, including Dr. Prashanth Krishna, Managing Director, and Dr. Baskaran, Group CEO, who graced the occasion with their presence.
The three-week-long tournament witnessed 36 corporate teams from the Gummidipoondi and Ponneri area battling fiercely for the coveted title. Hosted at TJS Engineering College, Puduvoyal, the event culminated in an intense final match, where Team Western Thomson Groups emerged victorious, securing the championship and a cash prize of ₹50,000. The Runner-up Team Michelin India Pvt Ltd, Thervoy Kandigai delivered an outstanding performance and was rewarded with ₹25,000 for their efforts.
