PRATIVAD – An Annual Inter School Contest at  GNA University

Jalandhar, November 4, 2023: Prativad, an Inter School Contest, one of the greatest events was organized at GNA University. The grand event not only focused on bringing forth the young talent but also nurturing and developing competitive spirit among the students. Prativad bagged wonderful response from various schools from all over Punjab who participated in multifarious competitions like Robotronz, Design C Pedia, Auto Brainix, Best Out of Waste, Spell Bee, Elocution, Business Quiz, Voice of Doaba, Volley Ball, Healthcare Collective, A LAN Gaming competition, Dance Star of Doaba, Photography, and Young Budding Chef. 

Prativad 2023 was graced by the benign presence of S. Gurdeep Singh Sihra, the Chancellor, GNA University as the Chief Guest. Smt. Harinder Kaur, Regional Director of NSS Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports Govt. of India of Punjab, Himachal & Chandigarh. The MOC of the event, Dr. Disha Khanna, Dean, School of Liberal Arts apprised the gathering about the annual Prativad 2023. The Chief Guest congratulated the young students who grabbed the opportunity to meet and compete with their peers. He also ensured that GNA University focuses to encourage the young talent so that they can enrich their profile and become employable along with increasing their competency and confidence. He stressed that champions are made by strong vision, determination, persistence, skill and will.  He also expressed his delight in witnessing the talent among the budding participants from all over the Punjab and remarked, “GNA University is always striving for excellence and will always offer his best in producing future leaders.”

The event was witnessed by worthy jury members for all the events and the worthy teachers, who had accompanied the students from their respective schools. Tough competition was seen amongst the participants participating in the events. The participants of this annual event Prativad were deeply thankful to S. Gurdeep Singh Sihra, the Chancellor, GNA University for providing them an opportunity to be a part of such a gala show of cultural and academic events at one platform.

Overall, there were 18 events with an overall trophy & cash award of Rs 11000 been bagged by Cambridge International School, Phagwara.
