Pre PhD course work inaugurated
Course is being attended by research scholars
Chandigarh: Pre PhD course work in the Department of Education was inaugurated today by Prof OP Katare former Dean Research and Dean Pharmacutical sciences. the coordinators of the course Prof Latika and Prof Nandita were also present during the interaction. Highlighting the importance of focussed and calm mind for research he emphasised the importance of meditation for a researcher. Meditation improves our observation, understanding of the things and a clearer distinction of right from wrong, which inevitably affects our decision making.UGC has given importance to teaching of ‘Ethics in Reserch’ and meditation undoubtedly improves your choices leading to better decision making. It also improves your communication skills and makes the content of your communication richer. When your perception and observations are clear, you know what to express and how to do it.
The course is being attended by research scholars from the field of Education. Former Director of NCERT Prof Krishna Kumar and Senior Professors from University will be addressing students on various issues concerning research.
