The event is scheduled to take place on April 7, 2025, at the Sheraton Grand in Shanghai, China.
The World Corrugated Forum (WCF), the flagship international event of WEPACK, has been a trailblazer in shaping industry trends since its inception in 2019. Now in its fourth edition, WCF continues to bring a global perspective to the forefront, gathering industry leaders from across the world to discuss advancements in packaging lightweighting. This year’s forum is anticipated to host 300 prominent figures from 30 countries, fostering insightful conversations on corrugated packaging, printing, packaging products, and their end-use applications. Attendees will exchange innovative technologies and explore emerging market trends.
Expressing his gratitude for the invitation, Mr. Gupta remarked, “I am honored to address this distinguished forum and shed light on packaging lightweighting and sustainability within India’s printing industry. Valued at over $8 billion and growing at a 12% compound annual growth rate, this sector plays a vital role in supporting industries such as food, pharmaceuticals, and e-commerce. In response to global calls for sustainability, my keynote will focus on lightweighting—reducing packaging weight without compromising functionality—as a critical approach.” He further emphasized, “Sustainability and lightweighting are no longer choices but essential drivers for the future of India’s printing industry. By embracing eco-friendly materials, cutting-edge technologies, and overcoming systemic challenges, we can lessen our environmental footprint while meeting the needs of a dynamic market. As India rises as a global economic leader, our printing and packaging sector has a remarkable opportunity to pioneer sustainable innovation and set a global benchmark.”
