President of India shall preside over the convocation of Medical College Tanda

Dharamsala, October 5, 2018: President Ramnath Kovind will attend the convocation of Dr.Rajendra Prasad Medical College, Tanda near here on October 29. This program will be organized in the Sardar Sobha Singh Auditorium of Dr R P G Medical College Tanda. The district administration and college management has started preparing for the proposed visit of the President. On Friday, a meeting the organisers was conducted with District Collector Sandeep Kumar ,Superintendent of Police Santosh Patial and College Management to take stock of preparations this convocation . DC Kangra instructed the management committee and the authorities about the necessary preparations related to the tour and gave necessary guidelines. He instructed the hospital management to ensure that people coming to the hospital at the time of Presidents tour should not have any problem, all possible measures and advance arrangements should be made for this.

The meeting discussed various issues related to the President's arrival program. The D C Kangra asked all officials and staff to discharge their duties with utmost sincerity for the success of the tour. He said that the officers and employees who have been given the responsibility, must perform their duties properly.

Sandeep Kumar gave special guidelines on the safety and reception of all the guests coming to the Day.

On this occasion, Superintendent of Police Santosh Patial asked for strict compliance of the instructions in terms of security. He said that the photo identity card will be issued for the duty officers and employees engaged in the programme.

After the meeting, District Collector Sandeep Kumar and Superintendent of Police Santosh Patial examined the sitting arrangements for the guests at the auditorium.

Members of Dr. Rajendra Prasad Medical College management and other departments including, Tanda's Principal, Bhanu Awasthi, Administrative Officer Sunyan Sharma, SDM Kangra Shashipal Negi, SDM Nagrota Bagwan Ankush Sharma and others were present in this meeting which was organised at Tanda.
