Prof. Deepti Hooda shares tips for happiness in a Mental Wellness workshop

Rohtak, April 3, 2025: Happiness is not a destination, happiness is a continuous journey. Positive thinking, avoiding excessive thinking, mindfulness, and an active lifestyle are important for happiness. Giving the mantra of happiness for a happy life, Dr. Deepti Hooda, Professor of Psychology Department of MDU and Professor Incharge of Happinessitude Laboratory, expressed these sentiments as an invited resource person in the Mental Wellness workshop organized at the University Institute of Engineering and Technology.

Prof. Deepti Hooda advised the students to avoid excessive worry and negative thinking. Prof. Deepti Hooda gave important tips for happiness and conducted various activities in the workshop. Dr. Chhavi Rana gave the welcome speech. Dr. Kamna Solanki expressed vote of thanks. Coordinator of this two-day workshop, Dr. Manjit Kaur said that the objective of organizing this workshop was to instill hope and resilience in the students, to generate positive thinking in them and to inspire them for a happy and healthy lifestyle and to pave the way for their mental wellness.
