Ludhiana, March 9, 2013: A programme was organised by EEPC India with FIEO and E-bay on exports through e-commerce at a local hotel on Friday late evening.
Darshan Singh, Regional Joint DGFT, was chief guest.
More than 100 exporters participated in the programme.
Opinder Singh, Deputy Director, EEPC India, in his welcome address appreciated the role of exports through e-commerce and need for contribution to exports by all.
He said e-Commerce is an answer to do trouble free exports. He also highlighted the role of e-bay and paypal to make exports an easy task and even ladies can contribute to export kitty.
Darshan Singh in his key note address gave example of accepting any new concept takes time but is a useful thing to try .
Haneet Kaushal from E-bay gave a detailed presentation how to get free registration for EEPC and FIEO members and Aditi Sharma of Paypal in her presentation cleared doubts about safe payments and safe delivery.
Aashish Jaiin, Joint Director of FIEO coordinated the programme and thanked EEPC for providing a platform to organise such a programme.
Prominent exporters were Gurmeet Kular of UPCMA Ludhiana, S C Ralhan Past Regional Chairman EEPC, Shyam Gupta from Steelman, Rajeev Nachahl from August Indsts.
There were representatives from ECGC and FEDEX also present there
