Project Athletic Meet at Guru Kashi University

Talwandi Sabo, November 29, 2014: 5th semester students of University College of Physical Education of Guru Kashi University, Talwandi Sabo as a part of their course curriculum organised Project Athletic Meet in the Campus. Registrar, Satish Goswami inaugurated this meet along with other officers of the University.  
Olympian Dr Tarlok Singh Sandhu presently Director Sports at Guru Kashi University delivered welcome address. On the basis of overall performance in various track and field events Gursharan Singh and Veerpal Kaur both from 3rd semester were declared ‘Best Players’.
Dr. N.S. Malhi, Vice Chancellor, gave away the prizes, which gave boost to the morale of the staff and students. He stated that such events should be organised regularly for the overall personality development of the students. He also motivated the students to be good citizens first and they will attain the other qualities of good human beings themselves.
Although the students were the organisers yet Surinder Kaur Mahi was the activity in Charge and Prof. Satpal Singh, Prof. Manjeet Singh, Prof. K.P.S. Mahi and Sukhdeep Rani also contributed during this meet.
