Prominent industrialists’ express full faith in Capt Amarinder Singh’s government: Bhupinder Basant

Ludhiana: A dinner was hosted by Sushil Goel (King Exports) at Sushil Farms here to felicitate the appointment of Bhupinder Basant as Senior Vice Chairman, Punjab Traders Board (Excise and Taxation) by the Punjab Government.
Paritosh Garg (Happy Forgings Ltd), BD Bansal (Fortune TMT), Dev Gupta (Renny Strips Pvt Ltd), Sat Dev Jindal (Anand Enclave), Parveen Aggarwal (MK Hosiery), Arun Goyal (AP Refinery Pvt Ltd), Arim Jain, Arun Sharma, Sanjay Mahindru (Vishal Towers), Ganga Mittal (Kuddu Knits), Sanjay Jain (Ludhiana Steels), Sandeep (Opera Opus) and BC Nagpal (Nagpal Export) were present along with many other leading industrialists.
All the industrialists openly praised the Congress government led by Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh. They said that it was only during the Congress regime that the industries in the state flourished.
Expressing their faith in the Capt Amarinder government, they said that this government has always worked watching the interests of the industries because only when industries flourish, the economic condition of the state can improve and people can become financially prosperous.
Industrialists told Basant that it is because of the better policies of the present state government that the industries have been able to perform better despite the pandemic, which can be exemplified by the revenue collected from GST in the first quarter (April-June) of the current fiscal (FY2021-22).
During the conversation, the industrialists also said that ever since the Capt Amarinder government came to power, uninterrupted power supply has been ensured to all sectors including industries. Due to some technical reasons, there has been some interruption in power supply in the last three-four days, which will be rectified soon.
Basant said that some opposition parties and people associated with these parties are trying to mislead the people of the state on the issue of electricity, in which all these forces will not succeed as the people of Punjab are very intelligent and know and understand every aspect.
