Prominent Overseas personality Mota Singh Sarai gets honor at Lyallpur Khalsa College

Jalandhar, February 19, 2019: Prominent Overseas personality Mr.Mota Singh Sarai was honored by the Post Graduate Department of Punjabi, Lyallpur Khalsa College, for his ambassadorial role for Punjabi language. In his welcome address, College Principal Dr.Gurpinder Singh Samra lauded the exemplary efforts of Mr.Mota Singh Sarai regarding Punjabi language and urged one and all to follow his lead towards giving due recognition to our mother language. Speaking on the occasion, Mr.Mota Singh Sarai reiterated his commitment to dedicate his entire life to the cause of Punjab language. Dr.Gopal Singh Buttar, Head PG Department of Punjabi expressed his pride on the fact that Mr.Mota Singh Sarai studied and served as faculty member in the college thereby continuing his long association with the institution. Mr.Mota Singh Sarai was duly honored by Principal Dr.Gurpinder Singh Samra, Mr.Jaspal Singh Waraich Joint secretary, Governing Council and the faculty members of Department of Punjabi. This program held in the presence of large number of students, was anchored by Dr.Surinderpal Mand.
