Ferozepur, January 5, 2013: With the expiring of date for registration of property on production of Power of Attorney by 31st March, 2013, there is hubbub among the people of Ferozepur and people are visiting Tehsil Complex in numbers for registration.
Janinder Goyal Jugnoo, social worker, Ashok Kumar Gupta, former municipal commissioner and others have demanded from the district administration, to start token system in Tehsil Complex for registration of property as per practice in other cities of Punjab so that people may not face any difficulty at the time of registration of property.
They further said that a special attention should be given to the people of the category of NRIs, senior citizens, women and handicaps by making special arrangements for them in the Tehsil Complex. A time should also be fixed to get a token which should bear the time for registration of property also besides ensuring the presence of Tehsildar and Naib Tehsildar on time as it has been felt that sometime the people visiting the Tehsil Complex has to face number of problems.
