Ferozeur, September 23, 2012: A meeting of joint front of workers of Forest Department was held under the leadership of Balkar Singh Bhakra and Jasbir Singh Seera at Saragarhi Gurudwara Sahib.
In the meeting, the registration of alleged false police cases by Sanjeev Tiwari, Divisional Forest Officer, Ferozepur, against the leaders of the Union was condemned and a decisions was taken to fight through and through.
It was also decided that a state level agitation to gehrao the residence of Forest Minister at his village Katihara will be organised by Punjab Joint Front.
In this meeting the representative from whole of the Punjab in a joint statement to press said, in case the problems of Feozepur Division are not solved with a direct dialogue with the workers of the Punjab by the Forest Minister, Punjab, the agitation will be intensified in association with all the Unions and protest rally will be organised on 29 September.
