PSIEC organises successful 'Sarkar Aapke Dwar' Camp

Ludhiana, March 7, 2025: In a significant move to empower Ludhiana’s industrial community and bring government services closer to the people, the Punjab Small Industries and Export Corporation (PSIEC) successfully organized a camp at the Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings (CICU) Focal Point Complex. The camp was a part of the Punjab government’s "Sarkar Aapke Dwar" scheme, which seeks to provide citizens with greater access to vital services without the need to travel to state capital Chandigarh.

The camp saw active participation from local industrialists and entrepreneurs, who were provided assistance on a range of issues. Rajdeep Kaur, Estate Officer from PSIEC Chandigarh, led the dedicated team, supported by Tony Bansal, Manmohan Singh, and Varinder Cheema. The team demonstrated impressive efficiency, successfully addressing and resolving over 25 cases during the event, with many of them being resolved on the spot. This efficient handling of issues highlights the positive impact of the "Sarkar Aapke Dwar" initiative in improving the accessibility of essential government services to businesses and industrialists in Ludhiana.
Upkar Singh Ahuja, President of CICU, expressed his appreciation for the Punjab government’s continued support of the industrial sector. He emphasized the value of the "Sarkar Aapke Dwar" scheme in reducing the logistical burden on entrepreneurs who previously had to travel to Chandigarh for government-related services. Ahuja further extended his gratitude towards the one-time settlement policy, calling it a crucial step in enabling industrialists to clear their dues and streamline their operations. He also acknowledged the valuable contributions of MP Sanjeev Arora, whose relentless efforts have been instrumental in making the scheme a reality for the region’s industrialists.
“The timely implementation of policies is essential for the seamless growth of industries in Ludhiana,” said Ahuja. “We appreciate the government’s efforts to support the local business community and urge for continued swift policy releases, which will enable industries to grow without any obstacles."
The camp served as a testament to the collaboration between PSIEC and CICU, further strengthening the relationship between the government and Ludhiana’s vibrant industrial community. It also highlighted the government’s commitment to creating a more efficient and supportive ecosystem for local businesses, enhancing the ease of doing business and fostering an environment conducive to growth and development in the region.
In addition to the positive feedback from entrepreneurs, the camp has paved the way for future initiatives aimed at enhancing the industrial climate in Ludhiana. With services now more accessible to entrepreneurs on the ground, businesses can operate more smoothly, making it easier for industries to thrive.
