Ludhiana, December 4, 2024: Corporate Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum, PSPCL, Ludhiana conducted hearing on Tuesday at SAS Nagar (Mohali).
Er. Kuldeep Singh/ Engineer-in-Chief cum Chairperson, CA Baneet Kumar Singla/Member Finance, Er. Himat Singh Dhillon/Independent Member and Er. Anil Kumar Permanent Invitee O/o Chief Engineer/Commercial Patiala, listened grievances of the consumers.
Total six cases were heard and 03 No. cases were closed for decision.
Chairperson said that all cases of monetary dispute related to electricity bills (except theft, UUE & Open access cases) involving an amount exceeding Rs. Five Lac in each case, can be filed directly in the Corporate Forum. In addition to this, appeals against the decisions of Division, Circle or Zonal Level CGRFs can also be filed with the Corporate Forum within two months of such decision.
Chairperson mentioned that normally the hearings of the Forum are conducted at its headquarters at Ludhiana but keeping in view the convenience of the consumers, Forum also holds meetings at different prominent places in the State and today’s hearing at Mohali was held for the convenience of the consumers of Mohali & nearby area. Consumers who could not avail this opportunity can reach out to the Corporate Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum’s office situated at 220 KV Substation Complex, Opp. Verka Milk Plant Ferozepur Road, Ludhiana.
