PTU takes lead in organising 17th Punjab Science Congress on February 14– 16

Jalandhar, January 4, 2014: Punjab Technical University (PTU) is going to lead to organise the 17th Annual Session of “Punjab Science Congress” which is scheduled to be held at the Punjab Technical University from February 14– 16. It will focus on the theme “Science and Technology for Inclusive Development”. During this Congress, an attempt will be made to showcase the recent developments in the field of Science & Technology in the country and abroad. More than 400 abstracts have been received till date from throughout the world. PTU extended the date to submit the abstract till January 15, 2014, according to PTU VC Rajneesh Arora.
International experts along with National luminaries from different streams of Science & Technology are expected to participate in this Congress. As many as 1200- 1500 delegates including Senior Scientists, Teachers, Young Scholars and Students are expected to participate and present their research findings. Various economic sectors like agriculture, energy, environment, health care, communication etc may necessitate new scientific knowledge for sustainable growth shaping their future.
