Chandigarh November 6, 2024: Dr. Harvansh Singh Judge Institute of Dental Sciences and Hospital today hosted a unique lecture titled “Flavors  of Life: Understanding Taste and Smell Disorders; A Journey Through Oral and Sensory Health”.  

International speaker and Associate Professor at the Department of Cariology and Gerodontology, Institute of Clinical Dentistry, University of Oslo, Norway Dr. Preet Bano Singh delivered the lecture, which offered valuable insights into sensory health and its role in dentistry, attracting more than 150 students and faculty members, eager to expand their understanding of taste and smell disorders. 

Dr. Singh, a renowned expert in oral health and sensory science, discussed the intricate connections between taste and smell disorders and their broader impacts on health and quality of life. Her presentation covered the latest advancements in the diagnosis and treatment of these sensory conditions, emphasising their essential role in well-being and patient care. 

Prof. Deepak Gupta, Principal of Dr. Harvansh Singh Judge Institute of Dental Sciences and Hospital, opened the event with remarks that underscored the importance of a holistic approach to dental health.
