PU extended last date for submitting registration and filling of online Application for admission 

Chandigarh, October 23, 2024: Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh, NAAC A++ graded and Category -1 status HEI, has extended the last date for submitting registration and filling of online Application for admission to 27 Programmes offered by Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE), Panjab University, Chandigarh (except M.B.A & ADGC Semester I) to October 26, 2024 (Saturday).

CDOE offers a wide range of courses including traditional undergraduate courses and post graduate courses, professional courses, job-oriented courses, skill-based courses, market-driven courses and some value oriented courses.All 15 UG and PG programmes are UGC- DEB approved.

CDOE also offers unique opportunity in pursuing two degrees (one regular and one distance mode or both in distance mode) or one degree programme and one Advanced diploma/ certificate together to save their precious years. CDOE offers 11 Post Graduate Programmes, and 11 Advanced Diplomas, 4 Undergraduate Programmes and 3 Certificate courses, which students may pursue with their regular UG/PG degree programmes during session 2024-25.  Dual Degree provision is not available to Ph.D Students as regulated by UGC.

The students interested in pursuing correspondence courses in Master of Arts Degree in Economics, Education, English, Hindi, Punjabi, History, Political Science, Public Administration, Sociology; M.Com; Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Library and Information Science; Advanced Diploma Courses in Computer Application, Disaster Management and Corporate Security, Educational Management and Leadership, Health, Family Welfare and Population, Human Rights and Duties, Library Automation and Networking,Mass Communication,  Photography, Social Work, Statistics; Certificate Course in Vivekananda Studies,Women Studies, Corporate Security, Safety and Fire Protection Management may register before October 26, 2024 following  detailed guidelines given in CDOE Prospectus https://cdoeadmissions.puexam.in/Prospectus.pdf.  Admission  to MBA  is entrance-test- based and last counselling is over.

Students can generate Post Office fee challan & deposit fee through Online Mode upto October 28, 2024 (Monday). The date for completing the online admission-cum-examination form has been extended to October 30, 2024 (Wednesday). The last date for submission and sending of hard copy of admission cum examination form to CDOE will be November 4, 2024 (Monday).

Admission to a two year BEd correspondence (NCTE approved and UGC entitled) Programme has recently been  started and first counselling will take place on 7.11.24 and 8.11.24, B.Ed schedule is available on  https://cdoebed.puchd.ac.in/
