PU Hindi Deptt.to organize an event on Birth Anniversary of Mahadevi Verma

Chandigarh, March 25, 2019: Department of Hindi, PU will be organizing a special event on 26th March 2019, to commemorate the birth anniversary of celebrated poet and author, Mahadevi Verma. Dr.Gurmeet Singh, Chairperson, Department of Hindi, said that, “Research scholars and students from the Dept are organizing this event to pay a tribute to life and work of Mahadevi Verma. These events help students learn more about literary figures and their works.”
The program will begin at 11 am with a screening of short film on life and literary works of Mahadevi Verma. This will be followed by student presentations on various aspects of her works. Ritu (research scholar), Indu, Rajvinder, KanchogPaldan (students) will be the presenters. Usha (research scholar) will conduct the program. Certificates will be distributed to students and research scholars during the event.
