PU hosts Workshop on “CNC Programming using Mastercam”

Chandigarh, September 26, 2024: Panjab University, Chandigarh hosted an engaging workshop titled "CNC Programming using Mastercam", drawing an enthusiastic audience of students, faculty, and staff. The event aimed to equip participants with essential skills in CNC programming, a vital component of modern manufacturing processes.

The workshop commenced with a warm welcome from Workshop Coordinator, Prof. Shankar Sehgal, who emphasised the significance of CNC programming in today’s industrial landscape. Prof. Sehgal expressed his gratitude to attendees for their commitment to enhancing their technical skills.

Resource Person, Dr. Amit Thakur, delivered an insightful session, providing practical knowledge and hands-on experience in utilising Mastercam software. His expertise enabled participants to gain valuable insights into CNC programming, underscoring its relevance inadvancing manufacturing technology.

Faculty members, including Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Jaswinder Singh Mehta, and Gagandeep Singh, also actively participated in the workshop, further enriching their understanding and capabilities in this critical area.
