PU NCC Sports meet

Chandigarh, April 11, 2019: The National Cadet Corps, Panjab University organized two days sports meet ‘SAMAVESH 2.0- Ek Kadam Swashthaya ki Aur-Nasha Mukt Bharat’ at the PU Main Ground, here today.
The event was flagged off by Prof.Karamjeet Singh Registrar, PU, Sh.Rohit Thakur, CO NCC and Dr.Kuldeep Singh, Coordinator, NCC Panjab University.
The sports meet started with the march past by NCC teams with their college and school banners. Approximately 600 boys and girls participated in various games such as volley ball, tug-of-war, relay 400 metres, 200 meters and 100 meters.
Professor Parvinder Singh, Controller of Examination, Professor Emanual Nahar, DSW, Dr.Monica Munjial, NCC Incharge, Girls wing and various faculty members from different departments of PU graced the Day 1 of the Sports meet.
The Semi-finals and Finals of all the games will be held on April 12, 2019 at 8 am on the same venue followed by the prize distribution ceremony.
