PU organized an 'Alumni Lecture Series' on 'Global Trends for Human Rights Professionals'
The Centre for Human Rights and Duties, Panjab University, Chandigarh organized an 'Alumni Lecture Series' on 'Global Trends for Human Rights Professionals' as an commemorative activity at the departmental level as part of the ongoing 3rd Global Alumni Meet hosted by the Panjab University, today.
Chandigarh, November 4, 2022: The Centre for Human Rights and Duties, Panjab University, Chandigarh organized an 'Alumni Lecture Series' on 'Global Trends for Human Rights Professionals' as an commemorative activity at the departmental level as part of the ongoing 3rd Global Alumni Meet hosted by the Panjab University, today.
The Chairperson of the Centre Dr. Upneet Kaur Mangat, informed that the intent to initiate the alumni lecture series was to acquaint the present batches with the opportunities available in the field of human rights globally in the form of policy research, consultancy work and advocacy from the voices of the alumni. The Chief Guest of this session was, 'Prof. (Dr.) Swarnjit Kaur, Coordinator and Founder of Centre for Human Rights and Duties.
The Lecture took place in two different panel sessions, the first session being, 'Global Trends & Employability Skills for Human Rights Professionals' & the second session being, 'Strategy Formulation for Successful Career in Human Rights.'
The guest speakers and panelists were the Alumni from different batches, working in diverse fields related to human rights area both at national as well as international level organizations who shared their experiences , achievements, experiences & challenges through a healthy and valuable discussion.
