PU Professor to teach in Saudi Arabia

Chandigarh, December 14, 2018: Prof.Ranjan Kumar, Department of Physics and Associate Dean Student welfare has been invited by King Abdulaziz Univ. Jeddah, Saudi Arabia to work as Professor for a period of one year. Prof.Ranjan Kumar works in the area of Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics which include Thermoelectric materials, fullerenes, carbon nanotubes and materials for spintronic applications. He has published 63 research papers in Internantional peer reviewed journals and 45 papers in conferences proceedings. Nine Students have completed their PhD. under the supervision of Prof.Kumar and 7 students are currently working with him for their Ph.D.programme.
