PU VC formally receives MAKA trophy at New Delhi

Prof. Raj Kumar received MAKA Trophy from Minister of Sports Anurag Thakur, at a function in New Delhi. Chandigarh, November 1, 2021: Prof. Raj Kumar, Vice Chancellor, Panjab University, Chandigarh received Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Trophy 2020 on behalf of the Panjab University from Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Anurag Thakur today at a felicitation/handover ceremony held at The Ashoka Hotel, New Delhi.
PU VC was accompanied by Prof. Prashant Gautam, Director, Sports, PU and Dr. Rakesh Malik, Deputy Director, Sports, PU.
The function was organised to honour the Sports persons who got Arjuna Awards, Dyan Chand Khel Rattan Award and Droncaharya for the year 2020.
The Panjab University is felicitated for its outstanding achievement at International Level, All India Inter University Sports and Khelo India University games.
PU VC said that PU is delighted to physically received the prestigious MAKA trophy from the Hon’ble Minister and the credit goes to the hard work of Coaches and players.
