PU VC meets President of India Ram Nath Kovind

Chandigarh, July 19, 2019: Prof Raj Kumar, Vice Chancellor, Panjab University, Chandigarh met The President of India, Ram Nath Kovind in New Delhi today. The VC apprised him of various academic and developmental activities being undertaken by PU. Other important issues related to PU were also discussed. The President while appreciating the same, assured of all possible help to PU. Brief Dr.Harvansh Singh Judge Institute of Dental Sciences & Hospital, Panjab University, Chandigarh organized “One day training workshop on AutoCEPH, a web based Cephalometric Analysis and 3-D Metal Printing for Dental Applications” in collaboration with CSIR-CSIO, Chandigarh and CDER-AIIMS, New Delhi in the Dental Institute premises here today. The session included lectures and demonstrations by eminent speakers Dr.H.K.Sardana, Virendra Kumar, Dr.Viren Sardana, Dr.Rajeev, Suman Tewary, Srikant Vasamsetti and Vijay Kumar Meena on utilization of new software AutoCEPH, 3D Metal printing technology and its utilization in dental practice. The course was attended by 60 participants that included Postgraduate students and faculty members of the Institute. The students and staff appreciated the academic activity which is very vast and less talked about. Interactive discussion with possibilities of collaboration of medical and engineering was also done.
