PU VC meets Union Minister of State Somparkash Kainth

Chandigarh, August 20, 2019: Prof.Raj Kumar, Vice Chancellor, Panjab University, Chandigarh met Somparkash Kainth, Union Minister of State (Commerce & Industry), today at New Delhi.
He discussed various proposals regarding sanction of Developmental Grant for the upliftment of existing infrastructure to meet the contemporary developmental needs of this heritage institution of higher education. He also informed him that PU is most sought after University for North Eastern students and PU is considering special facilities for the same for which, extra grants are required. The Minister assured of all help.
