Chandigarh, April 23, 2025: Panjab University, Chandigarh Vice Chancellor Prof. Renu Vig today released an intellectually inspiring pictorial compilation dedicated to World Book Day 2025. The book, curated by Punjab State Information Commissioner Harpreet Sandhu, reflects the global theme of year 2025 “Read Your Way”.
Sandhu, an eminent author, has prepared the significant artwork portraying the importance of books as a noble initiative to highlight the enduring significance of books in human life. Through a unique blend of captivating visuals and thought-provoking literary quotes, the pictorial work encourages students and readers alike to explore the vast expanse of knowledge across diverse disciplines.
While releasing the pictorial art work applauded efforts of Harpreet Sandhu, Prof. Vig said that this compilation is a meaningful contribution that will promote the significance of reading and it will serve as a source of inspiration and motivation for both the faculty and students of our university. The pictorial work will promote the timeless value of books and reading, inspiring the academic community to continue engaging with literature as a gateway to intellectual enrichment and personal growth, she added.
Harpreet Sandhu also presented his books on legal comparative study & religious heritage subject to Prof Renu Vig, for the edition in University library on eve of World Book Day.
Sandeep S Dhaliwal, State Information Commissioner Punjab was also present on the occasion.
