Public Awareness Programme on Ebola Virus Disease

Chandigarh, February 9, 2015 : The Association of Microbiologists of India (Chandigarh Unit), Department of Microbiology Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh would organise a public awareness and interaction program on Ebola Virus Disease on February 9 at 2 PM in the PU Law Auditorium in association of Government Medical College and Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh. 

The programme comprises of screening the movie "Outbreak" followed by interaction of experts with public en large who will apprise about the Ebola Virus Disease and would answer the queries related to it in the minds of people regarding origin, spread, safety, precautions, treatment, status in world and in India, virus mutation etc./(SK Vyas, Jalandhar)
