PUDA CA takes stock of land to be acquired for new Urban Estate in Ludhiana

Ludhiana, November 1, 2022: In a major push to the overall development of Ludhiana, Punjab Urban Development Authority Chief Administrator Apneet Riyait on Monday inspected the proposed site for new residential and commercial Urban Estate near Ladowal bypass. 

Accompanied by GLADA Chief Administrator Amarpreet Kaur Sandhu, Additional CA Amrinder Singh Malhi, Estate Officer Dr Baljinder Singh Dhillon, Apneet Riyait reached Bagga Kalan, Noorpur Bet, Garha and Gounspur villages falling near Ladowal bypass where 2000 acres land would be acquired for carving out proposed project. She asked the officers to submit the feasibility report at the earliest so that process of land acquisition can be started instantly. She said that site selection committee’s meetings were already held in this regard. She added that this urban estate would be equipped with ultra-modern facilities. She said that development of new urban estate would propel planned urbanization and discourage illegal colonization in the state.
