PUILS organises its 11th Fresher's Party

Chandigarh, September 22, 2014:   Panjab University Institute of Legal Studies today organised its 11th Fresher's Party for the students amidst fanfare the Fresher’s Party for the students at Law Auditorium on Monday.
The event displayed plethora of events such as dancing, singing, ad-mad show, Bhangra and ramp walk showcasing versatility and creative potential of the participants. The electrifying performances of the students mesmerised the audience. The entire atmosphere was in tandem with the theme of the event which was “cities of the world”.    
The opening of the event was held with a welcome song along with the lighting of lamp by UILS Director Prof Sangita Bhalla with other senior faculty members, which set the tone for the entire proceedings. The motivational speech of the Director instilled the spirit of goal-oriented approach among students.     
The ramp walk was the major attraction of the show. The students dressed in colourful outfits, walking elegantly on the stage, responding confidently to each questions exhibited the hidden potential of the students apart from their academic proficiency.
The soulful singing performances heightened the already elevated ambiance of the event. The winners of the ad-mad show, previously held in the department, re-enacted their performances on the stage. The creative punches of the anchors generated ripples of laughter among spectators. Last but not the least, the electrifying performance of participants in Panjabi Bhangra compelled the audience to dance with the ongoing swing.
Afterwards, the winners of the ramp walk were given the respected titles. The Mr. Fresher title went to Arvind Singh, The Ms. Fresher title was bagged by Vaneet Kaur.
