PULWAMA ATTACK TRIBUTE : Models and designers release balloons during fashion show to pay tribute to the Martyrs

Mumbai, Just like all Indians , the fashion industry was also deeply effected by the Pulwama terrorist attack. To pay tribute to the martyrs, models, designer Deepali Parekh and Actor Karan Singh Chhabra released balloons during a running fashion show (Pernia s Popop Show) and observed a minute's silence.

On Being asked Karan said, "I was told last minute about this thought that the designer had in mind. Though lighting candles or releasing balloons cannot bring back our soldiers, but this was our way to tell the families of the martyrs that we stand with them in this moment of grief."

Deepali Parekh, the designer said, "I was deeply effected by the news and wanted to do something to pay tribute to the soldiers and this was my way of expressing."
