Puneri Paltan players delight their fans with surprise visit at their homes

Pune, September 17, 2019: Players of Puneri Paltan, which represents the Pune team of the Vivo Pro Kabaddi League recently visited the homes of two of their beloved fans and surprised them. The ardent fans of Puneri Paltan Rohit Chavan and Pranay Shinde were ecstatic when they met their favourite players. They were exhilarated and could not stop gushing about the sweet surprise. The two lucky fans were selected through a contest run by Puneri Paltan on their social media platforms where the participants were asked to share the pictures of how they have decorated and beautified Ganpati Bappa’s pandal at their homes. With Puneri Paltan’s huge follower base, the contest received overwhelming responses by lots of enthusiastic fans. Rohit Chavan, a hard-core Puneri Paltan fan living in Raviwar Peth was visited by the Manjeet and Darshan. The 23 year old was on cloud nine when he learnt that he would be visited by two of his favourite players from Puneri Paltan. Having a detailed conversation with the players regarding the sport, he got to understand the intricacies of the game. He also learned a few moves of Kabaddi from them. The players also shared some interesting anecdotes and some behind the scenes stories regarding the rest of the team. The next abode was that of Pranay Shinde, who lives in Kondhwa was visited by Sandeep and Amit Kumar. Pranay and his entire family are Paltan loyalists and are looking forward to the home-leg. They were delighted to meet and interact with #BhaariPaltan. The players were given a warm welcome by the family as they relished some mouth-watering Maharashtrian delicacies and sweets. The excited fans also took selfies and autographs with the players to capture these unforgettable moments. Being the diehard fans that they are, Rohit and Pranay presented the team with wonderful mementos. The players also gifted both of them with a goodie bag full of Puneri Paltan merchandise. Commenting on the occasion, Manjeet said, “It is endearing to see the love that our fans shower upon us. Our fans go to great lengths for us and going that extra mile for them was extremely gratifying. The amount of affection, warmth and enthusiasm with which we were welcomed was overwhelming.
