Punjab Art Initiative hosts celebrated authors at Punjab Literature Festival

The event attracted an enthusiastic audience eager to engage with two of India’s most esteemed authors, Durjoy Datta and Dr. Ishinna Sadana, who shared their insights into the writing process, inspirations, and personal literary journeys.
Chandigarh, October 19, 2024: The Punjab Art Initiative, supported by The Yuj Arts Foundation in collaboration with Bookchor, successfully hosted the Punjab Literature Festival. The event attracted an enthusiastic audience eager to engage with two of India’s most esteemed authors, Durjoy Datta and Dr. Ishinna Sadana, who shared their insights into the writing process, inspirations, and personal literary journeys.
The event received an overwhelming response, attracting literary enthusiasts and aspiring writers from across the Chandigarh Tricity. Durjoy Datta captivated the audience with discussions on some of his bestselling novels like ‘Of Course I Love You!’, ‘Till the Last Breath’ and ‘The Girl of My Dreams’, highlighting themes of love and personal growth that resonate profoundly with young readers. The audience connected with Durjoy’s passionate storytelling style and participated in an interesting Q&A session on the art of blending romantic themes with contemporary issues. Durjoy signed copies of his books and engaged the audience with his inspiring story of becoming a bestselling author from being an engineering and management student in Delhi.
Dr. Ishinna B. Sadana spoke about her acclaimed book, Power to the Parent: Parents Who Know Better, Do Better, sharing valuable insights into parenting and human psychology. She signed copies and engaged with the audience, answering thought-provoking questions about her research and the complex dilemmas faced by parents today.
