Punjab assembly results may be astonishing this time?

BJP may increase its tally of seats?
BJP leaders are on toes after the scrap of three farms law. The party’s state body has organised it’s Parishad meeting at Ludhiana where senior party leaders, Union Minister and Punjab Assembly Election In-charge Gajendera Singh Shekhawat, national vice president Saudan Singh, co- in charge Vinod Chavda M.P., Punjab Political Affairs In charge and National General Secretary Dushyant Gautam, and other senior leaders of Punjab were present. The ideology behind this meeting was to motivate the workers at grass root level to highlight the policies and programmes of Narendera Modi government. The party’s state president Ashwani Sharma announced in the meeting that the party will be contesting all the 117 assembly seats in Punjab. BJP Punjab will soon be opening its temporary office in Jalandhar to run the election campaign and party activities. It is pertinent to note that in the rally many senior leaders and personalities from other political parties joined B.J.P. political pundits says that BJP is strengthening itself in Punjab and can certainly increase its tally of seats in coming Punjab Assembly Elections 2022. Joining of more senior leaders from other political parties cannot be ruled out and recently Punjab BJP IT & Social Media department held a meeting in Chandigarh with BJP IT & Social Media Department from 117 assembly constituencies.      
Jakhar and Bajwa assined new responsibilities 
Congress senior leaders and former state president Sunil Jakhar has been made in charge of campaign committee and Partap Singh Bajwa M.P. has been made In charge of manifesto committee. Congress high command seems to be keeping balance among the Congress leaders; the reason that PPCC chief Navjot Singh Sidhu has announced new district presidents of Congress in Punjab. Transfers and postings of bureaucrats are taking place. Punjab DGP has also been replaced with the newer one.  All these activities are taking place much before the implementation of the election code. Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi is keeping round the clock tour programmes to motivate the party workers and to impress the voters. Channi is announcing series of benefits to the masses but Sidhu is cautioning him for not announcing those promises which cannot be fulfilled. Protest by the teachers, roadways employees etc can upset the Congress prospects in the coming Punjab assembly elections. Meanwhile, leaders from other political parties are joining the Congress. Recently, BSP leader Sukhwinder Kotli has joined the Congress in Jalandhar.  
From freebies to guarantee 
Aam Adami Party (AAP) convener and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal was once again on a two day political tour to Punjab. Kejriwal had earlier tried to warm up the political scenario by announcing 300 free units of power to every consumer. Then he came out with a guarantee of Rs 1000 per pension to every female above the age of 18 years and free education to the students and now with a Tiringa Yatra in Jalandhar and his public meeting in Lehmbi he has said that the people of Punjab have already trusted by giving power to Congress, SAD and now they should trust in his party. AAP is also announcing its candidates for different constituencies but the real picture is not clear that whether he will change few faces to whom he has announced as candidates or not.  
SAD-BSP holding big rallies 
SAD-BSP is holding massive public rally. Recently, a rally was held in Moga, which was addressed among others by former CM Punjab and senior Akali leader Parkash Singh Badal. The leaders are asking people to have trust in the promises being made by them. They say that all the promises will be fulfilled once they come to the power in the state. 
Punjab Lok Congress makes it entry 
Former CM Punjab and Punjab Lok Congress leader Capt Amarinder Singh held a meeting with senior BJP leaders in Delhi for seat adjustment for Punjab Assembly Elections. It is expected that soon adjustment of seat sharing will be finanlised. 

Chaduni floats his political party 
Farmer leader Gurnam Singh Chaduni has also announced to launch his political party, to content Punjab assembly elections. He has named his party as `Samyukt Sangharsh Party’. Let us see how much response he gets from people of Punjab. 
Conclusion 
At the end, it can be said that that still, we have to wait and watch as nothing can be predicted at this moment. It can be said that new political equations are emerging with passage of every moment. But, it cannot be ruled out that the poll results may be astonishing this time.
