Punjab Basketball teams of Junior Boys and Girls were given a befitting farewell on the New Year Day at a get-together of all the players at Basketball Courts, Guru Nanak Stadium, Ludhiana
Ludhiana, January 1, 2022: Punjab Basketball teams of Junior Boys and Girls were given a befitting farewell on the New Year Day at a get-together of all the players at Basketball Courts, Guru Nanak Stadium, Ludhiana where PBA/DBA officials were present for boosting morale of the teams after their successful completion of special coaching at LBA center The teams are going to compete in the 71st Junior National Basketball Championship being organized by BFI in Indore from 4th to 10th January, 2022.
Present were Teja Singh Dhaliwal, PBA Gen Sec. Parminder Singh Heer ( SP City-1),Vijay Chopra(PBA), Brij Goyal ( DBA), Raju Skylark and Sukhvinder Singh. aju Skylark gifted versatile tracksuits to the players.Dhaliwal is confident that Punjab players will return with Gold Medal.Boys are existing title holders with Gold since last two years.Parminder Singh Heer, an international basketball player appreciated coaches for training teams with dedicated passion.
Girls Team: Kaveya, Yashneet, Varinda, Kanishka, Manmeet , Karanveer, Isha, Rupali , Komalpreet, Nadar, Shamaparveen, Manmeet
Coaches: Saloni, Ravinder Gill, Narinderpal..( Cap of the girls team is Kanishka).
Boys Team :Nawaz Singh Panaich,Karandeep Singh Sidhu,Vishal Sharma,Abhi Joshi,Harmanjot Singh Cheema,Karan Saini, Jashandeep Singh,Jashandeep Singh Brar,Amandeep Singh,Rahul,Satveer Singh and Arshjot Singh
