Mohali / Ranchi, April 21, 2022: In the ongoing Women’s Senior T-20 Trophy (2021-2022) Team Punjab played their third league match today against Team Mumbai in which Punjab beat Mumbai by 7 wickets. The match was played at JSCA Oval Ground, Ranchi, Jharkhand.
Mumbai won the toss and elected to bat first and scored 156 runs for loss of their 6 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Jemimah Rodrigues (Captain) made 93 runs off 54 balls with eleven boundaries and three sixes and R S Chaudhari (wk) made 39 runs off 42 balls with five boundaries for Mumbai. Komalpreet Kour, Sunita Rani, Neelam Bisht, Harmanpreet Kaur and Kanika Ahuja took one wicket each for Punjab.
Replying, Punjab achieved the target and scored 160 runs for the loss of only 3 wickets in 17.4 overs. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur scored unbeaten 57 runs off 36 balls with eight boundaries, Taniya Bhatia (wk) scored 51 runs off 38 balls with nine boundaries for Punjab. Fatima Jaffer and P Naik took one wicket each for Mumbai.

Now in the Round IV, Elite Group E : Punjab will be playing their NEXT MATCH vs team Saurashtra on 22April at JSCA Oval Ground, Ranchi
