Punjab CM condoles death of CPI leader Dr Joginder Dayal
He prayed to the Almighty to give courage to bear this irreparable loss in the hour of grief
Chandigarh, April 30: Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Friday condoled the sad demise of veteran Communist Party of India (CPI) Leader Dr. Joginder Dayal (80), who passed away here in PGIMER last evening after a prolonged illness. He is survived by his wife and three daughters.
In a condolence message, the Chief Minister described Dr. Joginder Dayal as a leader of masses with the qualities of head and heart, who played a pivotal role to espouse the cause of unprivileged sections of society. Being a staunch votary of democratic values, Dr. Dyal relentlessly worked to ensure peace, harmony and amity in the state thus denouncing the sectarian and fissiparous forces.
Sharing his heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family, relatives and friends, the Chief Minister prayed to the Almighty to give courage to bear this irreparable loss in the hour of grief and grant eternal peace to the departed soul.
